The distorted high pitched lead line is generated using the sea ice extent in millions of kilometres starting in 1980 and ending in 2016. The rapid gated pad underneath is generated from measurements of change in global sea level (relative to 1994), starting in 1980 and ending in 2016. The data is repeated twice.
