“The Career Sonification of David Bowie” by Alexis Kirke and Martyn Ware, an installation at the Victoria and Albert Museum, has been short-listed for a Media Innovation Award 2014. Also the short film “many worlds” written and directed by Alexis has been shortlisted in the same category. http://www.mediainnovationawards.com/  

Alexis will be giving a TEDx on “Programming Computers with a ‘Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle’” at TEDxPlymouthUniversity on 25th October 2014, at the House Main Theatre at Plymouth University. Tickets are sold out for the event. http://www.tedxplymouthuniversity.com/

Alexis’ invitation to Tel Aviv to show ‘many worlds’ and give a talk on the opening night of the festival went successfully, leading to features in the Jerusalem Times, the cover feature of Ha-aretz, and an interview on Tel Aviv Channel 10 TV.
